When can I collect the Campervan?

Collection of the Campervan is from 2pm on the day hire commences (unless previously arranged and agreed with us). We will always try to accommodate an alternative time, but this cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional fee.

 

When do I have to return the Campervan?

The Campervan must be returned by 2pm at the end of the hire (unless previously arranged and agreed with us).

 

Where do I collect/return the camper?

The Campervan is collected/returned to our base in Cumbernauld – 3 Dunnswood Road, Cumbernauld, G67 3EN.

 

What’s included in my hire?

The Campervan is equipped with most things you will require except for bedding and towels.

 

How do I make a booking?

Bookings can be made by paying a 25% deposit, using our online booking system on our website at www.centralscotlandcamperhire.com/booking or contact us by telephone.

Is there a minimum hire period?

We require a minimum of 3 nights per booking. For bookings of less than 3 nights, please contact us directly. 

 

Who can drive the Campervan?

Drivers must be over the age of 25 years and under 75, in good health and hold a full driving licence.

 

A maximum of 2 drivers is permitted.

 

What do we need from you?

We require to see the following documentation for drivers:

  • Front and back of photo driving licence

or

  • Paper licence along with some form of photo ID

and

  • 2 recent utility bills (at the same address and less than 3 months old)

 

A copy of these documents must be sent to us within 7 days of booking confirmation. Photographs of document will be accepted.

 

You must bring all the original documents when collecting Campervans.

You will also be required to provide a DVLA Check Code 24 hours prior to Campervan Handover.

 

How much is it to hire a Campervan?

Prices vary depending on the time of year you book.  A 25% deposit is required to book.

 

Low season (November, December, January, February)

£89 per night

 

Mid season (March, April, May, September, October)

£109 per night

 

High season (June, July, August)

£129 per night

 

Can we bring our dog?

Yes! But all dogs, excluding guide dogs, must be approved by Central Scotland Camper Hire at the time of booking.

 

Is there a breakdown service?

Yes. In the event of a breakdown, all our Campervans are covered by breakdown service.

 

What about fuel for the Campervans?

All Campervans come with a full tank of diesel at the commencement of hire and should be returned with a full tank.

 

Can I smoke in the Campervan?

A strict no smoking policy applies to all our Campervans, along with any illegal substances and any form of vapour/electronic cigarette (as vapour tends to leave a residue within the Campervan).

 

Is there a security deposit?

There is a £750 security deposit which will be fully refunded 10 days after the safe return of the clean, undamaged Campervan.
